My current cat’s name is Bella. She’s 3 years old and every day is a new adventure. Like all my previous cats, she’s irreplaceable, and at times she’s precocious and sometimes just plain weird. Which honestly fits into my paradigm pretty well.

This morning she was with me in the bathroom while I was getting ready for work. Lately, she’s had a fascination with the shower door, and apparently, what’s beyond. This morning I was feeling a little frisky so I opened the door while she was laid down near the doorway and (unfortunately) spooked her. But she recovered fairly quickly and started to investigate the opening. Peering into the shower, but not entering…not yet. This went on for several minutes, until she started to get a bit antsy, so I gave up and closed the door. She wasn’t too put out by this, but I expect we’re going to revisit this particular experiment in the future. With the water off, what could possibly happen?
